Potato Corner The Spud Diner: A Totally Unique Potato Experience

Calling all potato lovers! There is a new place in town where more creative ways of enjoying potatoes will be revealed. Your cravings will be satisfied at Potato Corner The Spud Diner!
Potato Corner, which opened its first outlet in SM Megamall in October of 1992, has been a leader in the food cart segment for 18 years. The brand has consistently offered great customer experience with its popular original flavoured French Fries and other potato products. This year, Cinco Corporation, the company which started Potato Corner, has decided to expand and elevate the potato dining experience from snacks to a full diner of all-potato menu from soups, main dish, and even dessert!
The Spud Diner is the first potato concept restaurant in the country, a product of Potato Corner’s unexpected success in the market.
At The Spud Diner, potatoes are no longer served as sidings but incorporated as the main ingredient for all dishes. Using high quality US frozen potatoes, the team of Cinco Corporation & US Potato Board came up with traditional and creative dishes such as Shepherd’s Pie, Bubble & Squeak, Potato Carbonara, Baked Corned Beef Hash, Crazy Spudster, Potato & Sausage Surprise, etc. It was not difficult at all to execute these gastronomic surprises because US frozen potatoes are of highest quality – having undergone a quick-freezing procedure to lock in the flavour and nutrients of fresh potatoes but with longer shelf life.
All dishes are definitely a must-try for potato lovers! Have a fun flavourful and filling potato experience when you visit our first branch at The Columns, Buendia – an Ayala-managed property easily accessible to students and yuppies in Makati.
The Spud Diner will open its second branch this June 2010 at SM City Cebu, while Potato Corner continues its international expansion with branches in Jakarta, Indonesia and Los Angeles (LA, Cal) and soon in San Francisco, Las Vegas and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
