1. Bigger zoom with less blur with Cyber-shot HX Series
During summer, there is no need to bring all your gadgets when you have the new Cyber-shot HX Series cameras. With its Full HD 1920 x 1080 at 50p/60p video capabilities, complete with realistic stereo sound, shooting fast-moving action during your summer adventure will be no trouble at all.
In addition, the Cyber-shot HX9V features a high-performance G Lens with powerful 16x zoom range with 24mm wide angle to accommodate virtually any photo opportunity. It virtually eliminates flare while offering ultra-powerful 30x optical zoom range for crisply-detailed close-ups of distant subjects.

New exciting features found in both cameras include technologies just now incorporated in Cyber-shot -Optical SteadyShot with Active Mode is a powerful image stabilization system with ‘3-way shake cancellation’ and the 16.2 effective megapixel Exmor R CMOS Sensor supporting a brand-new Intelligent Sweep Panorama High Resolution mode. 3D Shooting options include 3D Sweep Panorama, 3D Still Image, and Sweep Multi Angle.

2. Slim, stylish, and 3D-enabled Cyber-shot TX110 and the water-proof TX10
Where conversation piece meets workhorse is the 16.2MP Cyber-shot TX10. Waterproof in up to 5 meters of water for an hour and shockproof up to 1.5 meters, the TX10 lets you take high-quality photos, including panoramic pictures, and Full HD 1080i videos of friends, family or pets underwater. From the tropics to the top of the mountain, the camera is also freeze proof down to -10 degrees Celsius, in case you are travelling in a temperate country. Not only is the camera good to go in chilly weather, but the sleek TX10 is durable enough to withstand an accidental drop from up to approximately 1.5 meters. Additionally, it is dustproof thanks to its airtight construction.

Meanwhile, the TX110V is an ultra slim yet powerful camera with a 3.5-inch OLED touch screen. Plus, with 1920 x 1080 60p/50p progressive Full HD video capability, it allows you to capture stunning, fast-motion video smoother playback when shooting your active summer escapades.
Debuting on these Cyber-shot models is the 3D Still mode, which captures two consecutive shots in different focus positions to calculate the depths and then it creates left-eye and right-eye images to produce a 3D effect. They still carry the 3D Sweep Panorama feature that Sony introduced in the NEX-5 - with a simple one press-and-sweep motion, numerous, high-speed burst of frames are stitched together to create a detailed-pack panoramic 3D image.

The reliable W-series expands its line-up with the 16 MP WX7, enabling you to join the 3D world created by Sony in multiple ways – using 3D Sweep Panorama to get panoramic pictures in one press-and-sweep motion, and using 3D Sweep Multi Angle to let you view images moving in simulated 3D right on the cameras’ LCD screen. The Cyber-shot WX7 is also powered by Sony’s “Exmor R” Back-illuminated CMOS sensors, “Dual Rec” technology to shoot video and capture pictures at the same time, and Backlight Correction HDR (High Dynamic Range) which lets you get the best shot in difficult lighting conditions.

Meanwhile, the Cyber-shot J10 combines superior image quality with simple, uncluttered operation. Built on the concept of “Easy to Share”, the J10 features built-in USB connector and PMB Portable software to make it easier for you to upload and share your summer memories. Boasting 4GB of internal memory, you can start shooting once you take the light and compact J10 out of the box.

4. Affordable style with S and W series
New S and W-series Cyber-shot lines, including the S3000, W510, W520, W530, and W570, are some of its most affordable full-featured point-and-shoot cameras to-date. They all feature Sony’s innovative Sweep Panorama, utilizing a CCD sensor to capture dramatic wide landscapes or tall buildings in one easy “press and sweep” motion and automatically stitching images together to create one stunning panoramic photo.

Aside from Sweep Sweep Panorama, these models are making a bevy of Sony innovations including SteadyShot image stabilization that reduces blur, iAuto mode that automatically optimizes camera settings plus Face Detection and Smile Shutter more accessible, particularly in the entry-level W series. Also seen throughout the new introductions is an “In-Camera Guide,” for users to learn about the cameras’ features and figure out how to use them on the spot.

Sleek design and superior engineering across the Handycam line-up

Game-changing Sony innovations, including iAUTO and image stabilization through Optical SteadyShot (HD models) and SteadyShot with Active Mode (SD), will now become staples in the revamped Handycam lineup this summer.

In addition to the above, all new HD Handycam models will help you shoot even in low-light, divide videos of swift movements into as many as 22 still images, maintain focus of moving objects, and basically, capture the best HD videos possible. The projected images are complemented with speakers with Clear Phase and an S-Master digital amplifier for clear and dynamic sound.

3. Camcorders according to your lifestyle
Entry-level HD camcorder options include the 160 GB hard disk drive XR160, 16 GB flash memory CX160, and in customizable memory capacity CX130. Sony refreshed its standard-definition lineup with three new flash memory-based models, including the 4GB SX65 and the customizable memory capacity SX45. These high-performance models have features found across the line, including a built-in USB cable and PMB portable software, 3-inch LCD touch panel wide screen (230K resolution), SteadyShot image stabilization with Active Mode, Direct Copy, Carl Zeiss lens, auto lens cover, iAUTO, and Extended Zoom. They also employ 60x optical zoom, Face Detection, and an on-board video light.
